Total scam alert! Got a robotic voice answering my “hello” claiming it’s BT (which I’m not with) and warning me my services will be cut off unless I press 1 or 2 to chat with an advisor and pay up. I’ve had loads of calls just like this one over the past few days, always at the same time and nonstop all day long. The phone numbers they’re using only change slightly at the end. I’m definitely reporting this to my real internet provider. If you get this call, don’t press a thing - it’s just a trick to steal your bank info and money!

Got a robocall saying my internet would get cut off because of unpaid bills, and that I needed to press a certain button to talk to someone and pay up or they'd stop the service by the next day. I rang BT myself, and they told me it’s definitely a scam, so best just to hang up immediately.
