Just got another one of those fake Amazon calls again. It’s the same thing every time - some automatic voice, usually sounds American, telling me my subscription is about to renew and to hit 1 if I want to cancel. Of course, if you press 1, it puts you straight through to some fraudsters trying to scam you out of your cash. These calls have been really frequent lately. Blocking the numbers doesn’t help much since they keep switching them up. This scam’s been going on ages, yet Amazon doesn’t seem to be taking much action to stop it.

I received a dodgy phone call claiming to be from Amazon, warning me that my subscription was on the verge of renewal. They advised me to press 1 to avoid automatic renewal, which, of course, led me straight to a bunch of scammers eager to rip me off. Be very cautious of these tricksters!
