I picked up and before I could say anything, the caller dropped the line without saying a word. Didn't even get the chance to speak.

Today at around 4.45pm, I got a call from 01298970695. The woman on the line asked for me by name, and when I asked who was speaking, she said it was from Advantage doing a quick marketing survey. I told her I don't do surveys and asked her to remove my number from their list before hanging up. I've now blocked the number. Honestly, these so-called surveys seem dodgy, probably just a way to fish for our private info.

They do all sorts of different surveys using loads of phone numbers, but don’t bother answering them. It’s nothing good - they end up selling your contact info to all sorts like energy companies, insurance scammers, and fraudsters. It’s just not worth the trouble.

I got a call from one of those 'Helpful' numbers again. The person on the other end just wouldn't accept me saying no, so I ended up dropping the call. I've gone ahead and blocked that number now.
