i got a call from this number around 10 in the morning today. as soon as i picked up, there was complete silence and then just as i was about to hang up, i heard a weird screech noise! they rang again a couple of times after but i decided to ignore it.

Whenever I pick up, there's always loud music blaring in the background. Every now and then, I hear a voice trying to talk, but if I say anything, the caller just stays quiet. Feels like they've dialled the wrong number.

She said she found my number on WeChat and for her own safety, she needed to ask me some questions. I ended the call and then got a threatening message saying they'd track my phone and take action against me. I've already reported the number to the police.

For the past week, I've been getting calls almost every day. I usually just don't answer, but when I do, the person quickly hangs up. It's pretty annoying, so I'm thinking of just blocking the number altogether.
