Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, didn’t pick up and then just decided to block it.

I had this chap with an Indian accent trying to pull a fast one on me, fishing for my banking info. He even had the audacity to ask for my credit card number, insisting it was to transfer an insurance payout linked to a car accident that never happened. This isn't my first rodeo with these sorts of calls; I've run into these con artists before.

He wanted me to share stuff about my credit cards and mortgages from before, but I said no. Then he got quite pushy. When I told him to take my number off their list, he told me to stop interrupting and just listen. So, I just ended the call. I've blocked the number now.

I rang the number back and it was some kind of accident claim people. Never had any accident myself, so I'm guessing it's just one of those cold calls.
