I got a call from 01298 709684, sounded like an automated system. A robotic voice was telling me my National Insurance number was gonna get cancelled because of some illegal stuff. They asked me to hit 1 to talk to someone. Honestly, it felt dodgy. If it was actually HMRC or any official department, they’d send something proper and written, wouldn’t they? Definitely looks like a scam to me.
