Got a voicemail saying my national insurance number was involved in some dodgy activity and I had to press 1 right away. Sounded like a total scam to me.

I never picked up, but they dropped an automated message that started mid-sentence so I couldn’t even tell who it was from. The robotic voice sounded like one of those annoying adverts. It claimed my national insurance number was linked to some sort of illegal stuff and told me to ring back straight away or they'd suspend my number and have me arrested. Ended up blocking the number, obviously.
