Absolutely a con! A mate of mine got taken in by this one.

I suspect it’s a national insurance con. I received a message claiming my NI number is linked to criminal activity and possible suspension-absolute nonsense! They urged me to press 1 to chat with an "officer," but it’s clearly just a pre-recorded spiel.

watch out for this number, it seems dodgy. if u pick up, dont follow their instructions or push any buttons. looks like a scam warning to me!
