5 yearsI received a call from this number, and an automated message informed me that I’d been a victim of some sort of crime, warning me that my National Insurance could be in jeopardy if I didn't take action. It instructed me to press 1 to proceed. Naturally, I was then connected to a human being who was rather eager to obtain all my personal information. When I requested her identification and badge number for my own peace of mind, she spat out a number rather hastily. Upon asking her to repeat it for clarity, she became quite irate, exclaimed that she didn’t have time for my nonsense, and promptly disconnected the call. The whole thing was quite disconcerting.National Insurance5 yearsI just received a rather alarming call from someone claiming to be from the National Crime Agency, threatening to suspend my National Insurance number over alleged fraud. Now, I’m no legal expert, but as far as I understand, it’s quite impossible for anyone to just up and suspend your National Insurance number without proper procedure. It all seems a bit dodgy to me!National Crime AgencySubmit Your Own Report (01298 709226)
