Had a missed call from 001298 434648 but couldn’t answer it quick enough, so I rang 1471 to check the number only to be told it wasn’t obtainable. I noticed Chacewater comes up for 01298 calls, however I’m actually about 6 miles away in Redruth. Also saw there's been a call from 01298 within the past 8 hours. Quite odd!

Got a call from 01298-005586, somewhere in Buxton, Derbyshire. Missed it and when I tried ringing back using my landline (number withheld), it just said 'the number you’ve dialled isn’t recognised'. Sounds like one of those pesky sales calls to me? No idea who they were or what they wanted.

Got a call, they asked if I owned the house and then just hung up on me.

this number called me really early, before 8 o'clock. i didn’t pick up because it looked like a weird number, so it just went to my voicemail, but no message was left. i always have my answerphone switched on, so i usually just ignore these calls. still, it’s pretty frustrating, especially when your phone rings so early and you start stressing about something happening to a family member.

Some guy called, sounded Asian, and when I said he’d got the wrong person, he just told me to f### off. Proper rude.

I was out when my lad got the phone, and the person on the other end started cursing at him before just cutting the call.
