Somebody rang me pretending to be from BT. I instantly knew it was a scam and just hung up.

The person on the line had what sounded like an Indian accent and insisted they were calling from BT. I suspect it's a scam since BT doesn’t even supply my line. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
