Someone called me with a strong Indian or Pakistani accent, saying they were from BT Openreach and wanted to sort out my slow internet, which is true. When they asked me to press some keys, I got suspicious and told them I wouldn’t go any further until I’d confirmed their identity. They then threatened to cut off my internet. I quickly turned off my computer and blocked the number. Pretty sure they were after remote access to my device.
