Got a call earlier today, answered with a simple hello and some voice told me my internet was about to be cut off. They asked me to press 1 to speak to BT. I didn’t do it because I smelt a scam from miles away. No way pressing 1 connects you with BT - I reckon they’re just trying to nab your bank info. Total dodgy call.

got a call that was super brief and rushed. they said something about bt internet, telling me to press 1 to cancel or 2 to keep my bt service. pretty sure it wasn’t actually bt - smells like a dodgy scam to me.

I wasn’t home when they rang, so the answerphone picked up, but they never bothered to leave any message.

Received a couple of calls from a mobile number that my caller ID failed to identify, so I decided against answering.

Got a robocall claiming to be from BT warning me that my internet would be cut off at midnight, and it said to press 1 to talk to someone. I didn’t press anything though. I checked the number by calling it back (used 1471 to get it) and the call just wouldn’t go through - number said unobtainable. Definitely looks like a scam to me, so whatever you do, don’t press 1, it might be a pricey premium line or some dodgy scammer trying to get you.

I received a rather dubious phone call purporting to be from BT, insisting that hackers were attempting to breach my computer. When I probed them a bit further about their allegations, they abruptly ended the conversation. To set my mind at ease, I reached out to BT directly, only to discover they hadn’t made any calls to me. I've reported the number to BT so they can look into it further.
