Got a call from 01297682049, and it was clearly a scam. The person claimed to be from BT, saying my computer was at risk. I do have a call blocker, but it can only do so much since these scammers keep switching numbers. The variety of numbers they use was obvious from the list on the side here. This time, they seemed to be calling from the Axminster area code. Surely, something could be done to block these irritating calls once and for all?

Had a ring from some call centre claiming to be from BT. They said my router and internet had been hacked and were at risk. They kept asking for details about the equipment I use at home. I wasn't convinced at all, so I just told them no and ended the call.

I received a rather dodgy call from a chap with a foreign accent claiming to be from BT. He went on about how our internet connection and router were compromised and had allegedly been hacked. He attempted to pry more information from me regarding the equipment we use at home. I wasn’t having any of his nonsense, so I swiftly ended the conversation and put the phone down.
