Got a call claiming to be from Microsoft, saying they had to check my computer for security stuff. Totally dodgy, so I just ended the call. Watch out, they're just scammers!

Well, it seems these lot just cant stop trying. Apparently, my computer is screaming for help and they needed my number when I asked about the PC. What a joke, right? My computer’s been a dinosaur for 12 years now and not once have I given my number for that kinda thing. Plus, my PC actually died completely like three years ago! Told the woman exactly where to shove it. Funny thing is, you can never ring back the number they call from. Absolutely laughable, these muppets. Who do they think they’re fooling? Proper daft.

Some bloke called saying my Windows PC was infected with a virus, sounded pretty legit. He even said he had a supervisor with him. Honestly, they kinda knew their stuff technically, made it a bit hard to just hang up on them.

i keep getting calls from 01297489691, but as soon as i pick up, the caller either hangs up or just disconnects straight away. i reckon it’s cos last time i answered, i told whoever it was off that they could shove their scam somewhere unpleasant. i get over 20 calls a day from them - that’s way too many! honestly, these lot should be taken to court for making all these annoying calls, and then dealt with again for the scams they’re trying to pull!

I've had two calls this week from some bloke claiming my computer is riddled with viruses. Told him I don't even own a computer, but he just wouldn't listen. The first caller, Darren, got the same answer, and this time it was a guy named Alex. Honestly, if he thinks I'm an easy target, he's got another thing coming! Just a heads up, this scam’s been around ages - I’m clued up but plenty of folks aren’t, so watch out.
