Got a call from a lady claiming to be from the BT tech support about my internet being hacked or something. There was loads of noise in the background. When I asked her to say again where she worked and if the number she called from matched the official BT helpline if I looked it up, she got pretty annoyed. She started shouting and tried to talk over me, then just cut me off when I kept pressing her to answer properly. Definitely sounded like she was following some script.
