Got a call from a woman speaking with a South Asian accent, saying she was from BT. She said she’d tried to access something on my computer but couldn’t find the issue and wanted to explain what I needed to do. She asked me to check the lights on my router, so I said none were on. She sounded a bit shocked but seemed pleased anyway. I then told her the reason for no lights was because the router was off, and after that, I just told her to buzz off and ended the call.
