Dodgy car insurance cold callers. So, I pretended to be interested when a robo-call started, and eventually, I got put through to an actual human. I asked them for the name of their company and where they were based. The guy said a postcode in Reading, which obviously didn’t match the Axminster number they’d called from. I told him I was noting down everything for a report. Next thing, he just hung up and never called back. Honestly, acting like you’re reporting these calls seems to get them to stop bothering you after a while.
