I got a call from this number saying there were problems with my router, but it felt really dodgy to me. I’m pretty sure it’s a scam, so I wouldn’t bother answering or calling them back at all!

Got a call from 07512-912227 the other day, some bloke with an Indian accent claiming he was from BT about my broadband. I told him it was total rubbish and then he just hung up. Then today, 4-12-2019, another call came through from 07393-543189 but it was completely silent. Turns out it’s from the same area, and they're using outdated, disconnected numbers to make these sketchy calls... typical scam stuff.

Got a call claiming to be from Visa’s main security team. They said there had been a couple of debit charges on my account, each over £1,000. I wasn’t convinced and my answers seemed to spook them because they hung up pretty sharpish. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.
