Received a call on my mobile at 13:04 from someone who addressed me as Mr (First Name). The accent suggested it was from an Indian call centre, and she claimed to be conducting a Consumer Survey. It was quite evident she was following a pre-written script. I quickly blocked the number on my device and also reported it via Truecaller to alert others about this nuisance.

Rang me up earlier, but I struggled to catch what they were on about, so I requested a repeat. To my surprise, the person on the other end snapped at me, questioning my grasp of English. They called again shortly after, and every time I tried to explain how off-putting the first call was, they kept interrupting me. It genuinely felt like they were reciting from a script, and the whole thing had the hallmarks of a call centre based in India.
