I had quite the experience with a lady who was exceedingly bothersome and rather insistent. She seemed unwilling to accept a polite decline. Apparently, she was carrying out a lifestyle survey for something called Consumer Lifestyle Research. I made it clear that I had no intention of joining in.

Got a call where they used my name and asked to talk. I said, “About what?” but couldn’t really catch what they said next, sounded like they wanted me to answer some questions. They never told me who they were or why they were calling. I kindly asked them to take my number off their list, and they said, “It’ll only take a second,” then kept trying to chat, so I just hung up. Definitely felt sketchy - probably just fishing for info or trying to scam.
