Got a call on my landline supposedly from BT, with a robotic woman warning that my BT broadband was about to be cut off due to some “illegal user” linked to my account. She kept saying “press 1, press 2” but I just ended the call. After a quick search online, loads of folks on BT forums mentioned these calls are scams. I’ll definitely block that number if it rings again.
