Got a robo call telling me Amazon was charging me £39.99, but after chatting with Amazon's support, they said nothing was happening on my account. Definitely looks like a scam to me!

Got a robo call saying my Amazon Prime subscription would be renewed automatically for £39.99, and if I wanted to stop it I should press 1. The voice reminded me a lot of those calls I get from Visa. I didn’t press any buttons though, instead saved the number using 1471, but when I tried calling it back it just wouldn’t connect.

Got a call from an English number but the voice was American, saying something about my Amazon Prime account. Problem is, I don't even have an Amazon Prime! Very fishy if you ask me. Wonder if it’s some kind of scam.
