I have no clue why this number rang me.

I received a call from this number today. When I answered, I politely greeted a woman on the line, and she responded with a rather baffling “Who’s this?” I pointed out that she had called me, and her reply was an emphatic “No, I didn’t.” It struck me as odd, as I could make out the faint sound of someone whispering in the background, possibly feeding her lines. I decided it was best to hang up. This isn’t the first time this number, 01296532145, has reached out; they’ve left no message before when they went to my answering machine. I think I’ll just go ahead and block the number now.
