Absolute scam alert! Got a robo call warning me about two dodgy bank payments - one linked to Amazon and the other some overseas money transfer firm. I'm guessing if you follow their prompts, you end up talking to some call centre halfway across the globe. Kinda creepy really. I was just telling my partner this morning, after watching that Scam Interceptors programme on BBC One, how I hadn’t had one of these calls in ages - then bang, here comes one right away!
