Got a call on my home phone from this number but no voicemessage was left. Then, a few hours later, a very similar number, 01296 424427 called me pretending to be from my bank. They said there had been a £1300 purchase on my account and if I hadn’t made it, I should get in touch with their fraud team. I rang my bank using a number I already had saved on my mobile just to check - turns out nothing suspicious was going on. Honestly, don’t call back the number they give for the fraud department - it’s just the scammers trying to trap you.
