Reports on phone number 01296424427
4 yearsI got a call from a robotic voice saying someone had just spent £1300.00 online using my bank account. Of course, I didn’t make this purchase and they told me to ring the fraud department straight away. When I called my bank directly, nothing suspicious showed up in my transactions. This kind of scam is really risky because they want you to contact “fraud” through their number, but it’s just the scammers pretending to be the bank. My advice is to always call your bank on their official customer service number rather than calling back any number they give you.4 yearsSomebody rang me pretending to be from Amazon, saying I had to verify a purchase I never made. They kept pushing me to either confirm or cancel it. I told them I was going to report the call to the police, and straight away they said no need, they've already contacted them. Quite dodgy if you ask me.Amazon4 yearsGot a weird automated call saying something about suspicious transactions on my card with Amazon, but they never asked for anyone by name. They just told me to ring back that number if I wanted more info. Felt a bit dodgy to me.AmazonSubmit Your Own Report (01296 424427)
