On 19/05/22 I got one of those automatic calls about supposed payments for Amazon and some money transfer. Totally a scam, I just ended the call straight away. It’s proper frustrating that nothing seems to be done to stop these scammers. They really ought to find a real job instead of bothering people like this.

I got a call from someone saying they were from the fraud team. They told me I’d made two transactions, one with Amazon and another money transfer for over a grand. Then they said press 1 if it was me, press 2 if it wasn’t. The whole thing sounded like a robot recorded message. They never used my name or mentioned which bank they supposedly represented. Pretty sure it was a total scam.
