Got a call from 01296424312 telling me there were two tries to take £200 and another for £1000 from my card, but they never said which card. They asked me to press 1 to speak with the fraud team - total scam, obviously.

At about 9:35 this morning, I got a call from 01296424312. The caller said they were from my bank but didn’t specify which one. They claimed there was a £230 charge on my card for Amazon and another £1000 for some online payment. I ended the call quickly. Definitely a scam - sounded like an automated message trying to trick me into handing over my banking info. I’ve blocked the number now.
