I got a call from a guy who said his name was "James" and had a strong Indian accent. He claimed he was checking on some issues with my Sky broadband. He asked me to open some files on my computer, but when I asked him to prove he was really from Sky, he suddenly switched to a different story about not being allowed to share personal info because the call was recorded. When I wouldn’t give him what he wanted, he got quite angry and actually insulted me, calling me a rude name before hanging up. There’s no way this was a legit call from Sky!

Just got called by someone claiming to be from Amazon but it was totally a scam. Watch out, folks!

Supposedly Open Reach is looking into some internet troubles. Sounds like rubbish to me. This has scam written all over it.

They rang up saying they were with my broadband company and claimed my internet was off due to some "risky connections." I asked straight away if this was one of those scams, and they got really annoyed.
