I received a call purporting to be from an unnamed financial institution, asserting that they'd made three attempts to process a payment, one supposedly linked to Amazon for the sum of £300. I decided to hang up immediately. Upon investigation, I found that there were indeed no transactions made against my account. I've also taken the step of blocking this number from reaching me again. It's highly likely this is a scam.

In my view, this call doesn't seem to be genuine at all; I reckon it's a bit dodgy and probably a scam.
