8 yearsI got a call from someone claiming to be from ‘Windows’, saying there’s an issue with my PC. He told me to run a command, so I did, which brought up the Event Viewer. It showed loads of errors like always, so I told him that’s completely normal since I work with computers. He insisted it meant malware was being installed on my machine without me knowing. I just told him he was talking rubbish and then, weirdly, he just hung up. He had an accent that sounded Indian or Pakistani.
