Its pretty scary that theyve got hold of my name, address and even postcode. When I said I was going to report her to the police, she just cut the call off. They really need to start cracking down on these calls, especially since they target people who might be more at risk.

I received a call purporting to be from O2, and oddly enough, I also got a text message from O2 at the same time. It indicated that my security code was being requested to access my account. I suspect the caller was going to ask me for that code while trying to lure me in with some incredible upgrade deal. I informed the caller that I was rather busy and didn't have time for dodgy phone calls today. He insisted it wasn't a scam before abruptly ending the call. Just to clarify, I don't have a current mobile contract with O2, although I have in the past.
