Just like loads of others, I answered a call where nobody spoke, then they just hung up. Honestly, what’s the point of that? Seems like a pointless waste of time. If you’re gonna prank call someone, at least say something silly or funny. Also, anyone with a bit of sense will look up the number online, making it useless even if you’re not up to anything dodgy. No one’s gonna trust calls from unknown numbers anyway.

Got a call from a call centre with a strong overseas accent, barely made out what they were saying. They said they were ringing from Virgin Mobile, trying to sell me some kind of discounted plan. I’m quite sure it wasn’t really Virgin though, because I’m with Virgin myself and the number didn’t show up as one of theirs on my phone.
