Got another dodgy call - absolute rubbish!

Got a call claiming i could get the latest iPhone for £40 a month, which is basically what i’m paying already. They asked for all my card info, even the long number on the back. They were really aggressive about it and i ended up talking to two separate callers. The first guy never mentioned he was passing me on, but the change in voice gave it away. Felt like i was almost tricked into some scam or something.

I didn’t pick up when they called. My phone contract with ID Mobile just finished last week, and now I’m thinking maybe they’ve passed my details on to someone else. Feels a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from some dodgy Banbury Developments or whatever, claiming they had an iPhone 14 deal for £45 a month. I told them straight up I’ve never owned an iPhone and I’m not interested at all.

I picked up but stayed quiet, just listening. There were noises like a busy call centre in the background and a man talking in a language I couldn’t place, seemed like it could be from somewhere in South Asia, maybe Pakistan or India. After a bit, I hung up.

Got a call from a number linked to the 3G network. Told them ages ago I stopped being a customer and asked them to delete my info under GDPR rules. Even after that, the person on the phone kept pushing products on me. I even said the only reason I’d think it was a scam was if they refused to erase my details, but they just kept going with the sales talk.
