Got a call just now, and they asked if I was someone I’m not at all. I asked what they wanted but they just kept insisting on my name. I didn’t say a thing and ended up hanging up. This has scam written all over it, so don’t share any details with callers like this. Be careful everyone!!

I answered this call and they started asking if I was someone else, totally got my name wrong. When I asked what they wanted, they just kept pushing to get my real name. I refused to say anything and just ended the call. Definitely looks like a scam, so don’t share any details with them. Be careful everyone!

I received a phone call at 9:35 AM on 22nd November 2022. The caller claimed to be from my credit card provider, stating that there were charges of £300 on Amazon and £1000 for an overseas money transfer. They urged me to press a button for help. It turned out to be a scam. I quickly ended the call and logged into my account to find that there were no such transactions awaiting approval.

How long till these muppets twig that kicking off with the exact same "£300 Amazon order and £1100 foreign bank transfer" spiel is a dead giveaway? I was well up for winding this tosser (Chris) up by playing the fool and firing loads of daft questions at him. But no, as soon as I asked him, "Hang on, what was your name again?", he just hung up on me. Proper charlatan, lowlife, con artist, total scam . . .

I received a call today from someone purporting to be from Amazon Prime, stating that they were about to deduct £99 from my bank account! It's quite bizarre, seeing as I've never signed up for Amazon or their Prime service. Despite my insistence that I had no affiliation, they kept pressing me for payment details! What a nuisance!

I received a half-hearted voicemail and decided not to answer the call. It’s clear this is a scam; legitimate messages from banks and financial services always start by addressing the right individual first. This sort of trickery is all too familiar - it’s designed to cause unnecessary alarm.

I recently received a rather suspicious phone call regarding two supposed fraudulent activities linked to my credit card. The caller claimed there were two transactions-one for £1000 and another for £600. However, when I probed for details, they couldn't provide my name or specify which bank was involved.
