Despite me repeatedly explaining that the keys are with the managing agent since I don’t reside there - it’s rented out, you see - he just wouldn’t take no for an answer. I kept reiterating that I don’t actually live there, I can’t just waltz in without proper access, and don’t have the keys myself to grant entry. Eventually, he mentioned he’d need to chat with his manager and promised to ring me back. Surprise, surprise - that call never materialised!
