Got a call that sounded like it was coming from far away, said it was BT Technical Department. I didn’t bother hanging around to hear what they were after.

I picked up a recorded call on my home phone the other day. The message claimed my IP address was hacked and told me to press ‘1’ to fix it. I didn’t fall for it and just hung up straightaway. I went ahead and blocked the number and switched on call blocking to be safe.
