I told him I don’t even have a Prime account and he tried to get me to open my laptop so he could ‘show’ me something. I kept refusing and after a few times, he just ended the call. Like loads of others, I got one of those phishing calls. Could we actually get the cops involved somehow? Best thing is to report any scam you come across to Action Fraud, which is the UK’s main hub for fraud reporting. They pass info on to the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau so they can look into it. Plus, they’ll give you a crime ref number, which comes in handy when you’re explaining to your bank what happened.
