On the 30th of October, 2019, I received a rather concerning call from a man’s voice that began as soon as I answered. The message claimed that my Amazon account had been breached and that I had unwittingly subscribed to Amazon Prime. It urged me to press "one" on my phone to connect with an agent who could assist with the matter. Just prior to this, I'd received another call from a different number, delivering a identical message. I’ll be reporting that number as well; it was 01283895882.
