Got called by this number a couple of times today but luckily BT Call Guardian stopped the calls from going through - I've blocked the number for good now. If they bother ringing again, they’ll just get told to hang up because I have no intention of speaking with them. Looking at the comments here, it’s clear it’s a scam. It’s frustrating that since these scammers use a visible phone number, the authorities don’t just sort them out once and for all.

Be careful, it's a total con. Some Asian guy calls saying they're doing a TPS upgrade and ask for your Direct Debit info. They claim the details are on the debit card you used to pay for blocking calls. They say the numbers at the base of the card are what they need, but obviously that's just your bank info. Don't fall for it, it's definitely a scam.

Got a call from a woman claiming I needed to update my TPS registration, even though I've already got it sorted. I told her I’d take care of it online and then just blocked the number.

Got two calls today from what sounded like some call centre in India. They knew my name and said they were from something called 'Telephone Preference Management'. Don’t mistake it for the real Telephone Preference Service, they’d never ring you up like that. Told them to remove me from their list before I hung up, but it was obvious they were just scammers.
