Got a call earlier today from someone claiming to be from Amazon, telling me they were charging my bank for my Prime membership. Thing is, I don’t even have an Amazon Prime account. I reached out to Amazon myself and they said it wasn’t them at all. Pretty sure it was a scam.

This guy said he was calling from Amazon Prime, said my account had loads of login attempts. He told me to press 1 to protect it. His voice had a noticeable Indian accent. When I asked him to send a verification email instead, he said it wasn’t possible because of security stuff. Seemed dodgy to me.
