I received a call from this number claiming to be TalkTalk, but I'm convinced it's a scam. Best not to engage or answer any of their queries. Just steer clear!

I decided to return the call to this number and they identified themselves as TalkTalk. I had only recently enhanced my broadband package, and they referenced the SafeTalk password during our conversation, so I reckon it must be legitimate.

I had an odd message come through from this number. It read something along the lines of, "We're sorry to see you go. We’ve noted your intention to switch from a different provider. A confirmation letter detailing what you'll forfeit and any outstanding payments has been dispatched. If you've had a change of heart, kindly ring us at 01294537949." To be honest, I don’t recognise this company and haven't initiated any sort of switch. Plus, I'm not keen on giving them a call, especially since the message appeared as blocked. Quite the nuisance, really!
