Got a call from this number claiming to be EE, saying they wanted to check if everything with my phone service was alright. When I said yes, the lady tried to tell me they were offering a discount on my bill and asked for my email. I told her this sounded like a scam because if they were really EE, they’d already have my info. Ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call out of the blue from someone saying they were gathering info about Energy tariffs and if I was having any issues. I asked her if she even knew who I was since she didn’t bother checking my name. She claimed she had all my info, but that can’t be true because it was a business line she was ringing. When I pressed her for the name she supposedly had, she dodged the question and made up something else. I told her to stop calling as it was obviously a sales pitch, then ended the call and blocked the number straight away.
