When I asked where they got my number from, they said “Alpha-Lam.” Tried looking up that company but couldn’t find any way to get in touch with them. The caller claimed I’d won an iPhone8 but couldn’t provide much info except it was from the ‘wantto win’ site, which I’ve never been on. I was about to hang up, then they said they were from Scottish Power and could give me a better deal. They did know my current provider, but I ended the call when they mentioned I had three meters in the house, including one on economy 7, and asked if I was over 16. Seems like some kind of gambling scam aimed at certain people.
