I missed a call around 9 in the morning and when I checked my 1471, it showed the number 01294215118. I get calls like this pretty often, but I just never bother answering them.

So, I grabbed a whistle from eBay for just a quid. Whenever they call, I act like I’m firing up my PC, wait a few secs, then blow a proper long note right into the phone. Honestly, I’d hate to be the one with headphones on the other end! It doesn’t totally block the calls, but it definitely makes them less frequent.

this guy called me, sounded like he was from microsoft, talking some rubbish about my computer being hacked. i just laughed it off and that made him really cross and quite rude actually. i couldn’t stop myself from chuckling more and told him to stop scamming folks and go find a real job. proper disgusting how they do that to people.

Heads up everyone, there's this annoying 'MICROSOFT HACK SCAM' going around. These scammers keep ringing my phone over and over, like they won’t take no for an answer. Seriously, don’t entertain them for a second. Just hang up straight away and warn your mates too. A few people I know ended up falling for it and ended up losing cash. Stay safe!

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent using the number 01294 215 118. He claimed he was calling from Microsoft, saying my computer was at risk. I asked him, "Really? What kind of risk?" Then he started telling me if I didn’t let him sort it out, Microsoft would blacklist me. I told him, "Alright then, go ahead and blacklist me." He just hung up on me. Felt pretty threatening and just a real nuisance.

A bloke called James Matthews rang me saying he was from Microsoft and that my computer was under some kind of hacker attack. He wanted to know if my PC was switched on because he said he needed to access it. When I asked where in the UK he was calling from, he said Reading and gave me a number beginning with +44, which I found a bit strange since you wouldn’t usually use the international code when calling inside the UK. I politely thanked him for the call and then hung up.

So I got a call from someone called Aron Finch claiming to be from Microsoft. Said I was infected and that I needed to check my event viewer or something. Bit weird and sounded very pushy. Also mentioned India at some point, which made me even more suspicious. Felt like they were trying way too hard to make me panic about hackers using my PC to spread stuff. Not falling for that!

i got a call from a woman who spoke with an indian accent saying she was from microsoft. this was the second spam call i’ve had in just 15 minutes, and recently i’ve been getting about one a day. this time i told her off pretty sharply before slamming down my call blocker on her. honestly, these constant calls are driving me nuts. i’ve thought about ditching my phone completely, but i refuse to let these scammers control how i live.
