I received a rather odd automated call today, requesting that I verify a payment of £600 supposedly made via Barclaycard. The trouble is, I've never even possessed a Barclaycard! Quite the puzzling situation, if you ask me.

Just got a robocall telling me to hit ‘3’ to verify a £600 payment supposedly done with my Barclaycard about quarter of an hour ago. Thing is, I never made any payment like that and I don’t even own a Barclaycard. Very fishy!
