Got a call from someone pretending to be Amazon, saying they’d charge me £39.99 for a Prime subscription and that I should press 1 to cancel it. I haven’t got Prime so I knew it was a scam, plus nothing showed up on my bank statement. I’m pretty sure if I’d pressed 1, they’d try to get my personal info. I’ve been getting loads of calls like this lately, all from different numbers. Whenever I try to ring back, it just says the number isn’t in service. Proper dodgy!
