I received a rather dubious phone call from someone claiming to represent an outfit named Stop Debt. It raised all my alarms, as I’ve never been in debt a day in my life. I've always steered clear of credit, so it was quite clear this was a bit of a ruse. The caller went on about slashing imaginary debts by an impressive 45%. How preposterous!
