Phone number ☎️ 01293882569 👆 is reported as an unsolicited caller claiming to offer Sky warranties or protection plans, often using outdated customer information. Many recipients suspect it to be a dubious sales tactic or cold call, as they frequently have existing or recently renewed Sky coverage. Some find the offers overpriced or unnecessary given their equipment reliability and spare parts availability. Callers may insist on verifying personal details and sometimes pressure for immediate payment, which can raise concerns. Overall, it is advised to treat these calls with caution, verify any such offers directly with Sky through official channels, and be wary of unexpected requests for payments or personal information.

I contacted the Sky warranty line, and I must say, I found their service rather questionable after eight years of being without any coverage. They mentioned there would be a wait, which left me feeling a tad frustrated! The warranty covers the box (which I already have a spare for), the remote (again, I've got an extra), and even the dish (which can be picked up for peanuts). Overall, it feels like a bit of a pointless exercise for us and likely many others too. And honestly, £220 for just two years of coverage? No thank you. Is the equipment really that unreliable?

I received a call from someone asking for my wife’s maiden name, which instantly raised our suspicions of a potential sales scam. I told them that no such person resides at this number. They then asked me to confirm our address, which, baffingly, they got right. They hinted that they might try reaching us on our mobile next. Here’s the kicker: we were with Sky, and they’ve had our correct details in their system since we tied the knot three years back. We actually cancelled our Sky subscription back in June, so it would seem quite odd for anyone to still be trying to reach out under those pretences. It leads me to think that someone has gotten hold of an outdated list of Sky customers and is making unsolicited calls.

I had an unwelcome call from this number, trying to peddle bogus SKY warranties. They seemed to think I was someone else entirely, which was quite amusing since the SKY account has been in my partner's maiden name for nearly two decades - before that, it was in our brother's name! As soon as I pointed this out, they abruptly ended the call. Quite the cheek, if you ask me!

I received a call today concerning the Sky Protection Plan, which they've now rebranded as Sky Protect. I pointed out that I had just renewed this with the official Sky Protect service not long ago. Unfortunately, the person on the other end couldn't verify if it was genuinely Sky reaching out-she simply apologised and mentioned she'd make a note of it in their sales records. I suppose I'm bracing myself for another call in a year’s time!

I received a call from what they claimed was the official Sky repair team, saying that our warranty was on the verge of expiry, which indeed it is. Just recently, we also stumbled upon a correspondence about the Sky digital cover plan, so we presumed it was just a courtesy call. We ended up signing up for a two-year policy that is set to commence at the end of January, costing us £55.00 a week for the first four months. Curiously, they processed the entire payment on the same day we signed up.
